Brow Expert Predicts AW23’s 3 Biggest Brow Trends

If you’re looking for a new look the easiest, and least dramatic option you can make is with your brows. A different shape could accentuate those defined cheekbones you never knew you had, or give you that cat eye look you’ve always wanted. Below Brow Expert and CEO of Rubis Tweezers, Fides Baldesberger lists the 3 biggest brow trends of AW23. If you want to improve the appearance of your eyebrows, you may consider getting a microblading service from a professional with a Microblading Certification.

1. CAT CURVE BROWS

“We’ve seen a lot of different variations of the skinny brow, and the Cat Curve Brows is an updated 90’s nostalgia but more accessible that is more focused on creating the perfect arch resulting in the impression of a natural cat eye look. With 103.5 million TikTok video views, and UK Google searches for it up by 170%, Cat Curve Brows combine the angle of a straight brow with the skinny brow, and the best way to achieve it is by first drawing the outline of the cat curve brow you want, I would recommend drawing it with a white eyeliner pencil/eyeshadow so you can perfect the shape. You can then pluck the hairs that fall out of this outline.

If you’re unsure on whether the look would suit you, conceal the hairs that fall out your cat curve brow outline with a concealer covered spoolie and see how it feels for a few days.”

2. SCANDI BROWS

“Thick, fluffy brows never go out of style, and the Scandi Brows (influenced by Matilda Djerf) are straight brows taken to new heights. They’re outgrown, “unruly” brow hairs that have been brushed or laminated upwards, in a straight eyebrow shape that gives a more lifted eye effect as it tapers even more towards your temples. To really enhance this look, use a brow serum daily to ensure healthy strong brow hairs that can hold the height of this look.”

3. REVERSE OMBRE BROW Reverse ombre brow Insta circa 2017

“It’s the return of the Instagram circa 2017 Ombre Brows, but with a twist. Instead of filling in the tails of the brow more and lightening up when filling in the front, you’re starting darker at the front and trailing off at the tail. Fill in brows with a powder for a more airbrushed look, and my top tips is to not use a shade that is too dark as this can give a very overwhelming brow that can make the face look sullen and give a blocky brow effect.”
