6 Types of Holidays You Should Do at Least Once

There is no better time than now to start thinking about your vacation goals for the year ahead. Sounds exciting doesn’t it? There’s only one problem, there is so much out there! We currently find ourselves spending hours online, staring at the computer screen with eyes burning, 50 tabs open at once trying to decide what destination/destinations to choose. If you are going sans kinds, the opportunities are just endless…!

If you are anything like us, then you are looking for unique adventures. You don’t want to get caught in the trap of doing the same types of trips year in year out. Even if it’s not the same resort, this can lead to trips not being as novel or as exciting as they are supposed to be. But do not fret, you have come to the right post! Keep reading for the types for holidays you should consider for 2020 (and beyond)!

Luxury Cruise

A cruise offers a unique type of travel experience that you will remember forever, as not only will you be on a cruise ship which is basically a luxury hotel on water, it also offers the chance to visit several destinations all in one trip. Often you can take in several nations and cities all in a short space of time.

Trans-Siberian Railway

The trans-Siberian railway is an internationally known rail route stretching 4735 miles and goes all the way from Moscow to Beijing. The variety and wonder you will encounter along this thrilling route is second to none. You will see numerous cities and regions really getting to understand how vast and culturally varied a nation Russia is.

African Safari

The Luxury African Safari is the best possible trip that you take for viewing large game animals in their natural African environment. We all have seen some of these animals in the zoo, but this is far from a natural environment and there are issues of whether or not this is ethical to do.

Route 66

Route 66 is the classic American road trip and despite the existence of large inter-state highways everywhere in the USA the cultural significance of this route has not diminished. It has been a constant theme in travelers doing road trips in the USA. Stretching 2448 miles the stunning road traverses through no less than 8 states, of Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California!

Space Tourism

Now this one may seem like a bit of a stretch as it’s so expensive but considering that it cost the world’s first space tourist $20 million in 2001 and tickets are now available from around $200,000 it shows that it’s becoming much more available. So it is not beyond the realms of reality that the cost may fall further and be an achievable aim for the common person on the street in the not too distant future.

Major Events

Now, this one is a bit of a vague category but for most of us there are certain events, occurrences or festivals we would love to see before we die. It may be a trip to the Olympics or the World Cup Final. It could be that you want to experience a cultural event such as the Rio Carnival or the Day of the Dead celebrations. The point is that these are personal choices but there is surely one that is in the hearts of each of us and you should do it if it means something to you.

Now, go on and enjoy your vacation, you’ve earned it!
