Hair Forecast: Leo Bancroft Predicts the Hottest Hair Trends for A/W12

Some of 2012’s Spring/Summer hairstyles are back for the new season, but this time with an exciting new twist!

Dip-Dyed Hair Stays

You should all be glad that Dip-Dyed hair is staying for another season! Although this time it is back with a completely different colour spectrum. Pastel colours were the in thing for Spring/Summer 2012 catwalks but for Autumn/Winter 2012, deep, rich auburns took center stage. Prada’s ice blonde models flaunted rich, auburn dyed ends. Use my ‘Beautifully Radiant Colour Care Shampoo’ and ‘Conditioner’ set to avoid your colour fading.

The Fringe Is Back!

Fringes were spotted all over the Versace shows. Short, block fringes created a dramatic, gothic look. The full fringe may be making a comeback so be experimental; they can be worn out of ponytails, as poker straight downs dos, or slicked back in a chignon bun.

Side-parted ponytails

Side-parted ponytails and down-dos were just about everywhere, many styles were accessorised with pretty hairbands at Dolce & Gabbana, Clements Ribeiro and Ralph Lauren. The style can be worn loose and windswept or neat and sleek. Loose styles can be created with wavy hair using my ‘Simply Tousled Beach Wave Spray’. For a sleek, neat style, keep hair in place with my ‘Secretly Styled Firm Hold Hair Spray’ and a spray of my ‘Gloriously Glossy Shine Spray’.
