Stylish Highlights From The amfAR Gala
Celebrities and models rock some of the hottest trends at the amfAR Gala in Cannes, Thursday May 23
Stylish stars were on full display at the amfAR Gala in Cannes this week. The event featured a fashion show that was conceptualized by former Vogue Paris Editor, Carine Roitfeld. Thirty eight of the world’s most famous models walked the runway in ultimate gold looks by some of the biggest designers. But the runway isn’t the only place where fashion was on full display! The red carpet was filled with amazing gowns modeled by some of the hottest celebs of the moment.
Consistently being placed on Cannes Best Dressed lists (YCB just named her Best Dressed too!), Jessica Chastain wowed in a Saint Laurent one shoulder red gown with a cutout right under her bust. Staying true to her unique style, Heidi Klum took a risk in a sheer and gold number by Marchesa. Sharon Stone followed the trend and rocked a white gown with an open back decorated in gold chains.
But leave it to the models to steal the Best Dressed title. In fact, we’re not sure if we can pick just one, so we’re declaring it a tie. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stunned in a Dior strapless ivory dress with a mild high-low hem. She paired it with white Christian Louboutins, a smoky eye and virtually no accessories. On the other side of the spectrum, Petra Nemcova looked amazing in a sheer navy beaded gown. Her pendant necklace and boxy clutch prove that all of those years working in the fashion industry have paid off.
