The mum-to-be balanced out her baby bump with bare legs, a tiny box clutch and her hair swept off her shoulders. Kate is rarely seen in prints, however this Dalmatian-dotted coat-dress is sure to fly off the shelves, especially priced at an affordable £169.
Coat-dresses are notoriously tricky to wear, however thanks to this season’s boxy silhouette, now’s the time to give it a try. The trick is to keep everything else streamlined – the jacket should be the hero piece, with your accessories, shoes and hair all working together to complement your look. Look for lighter fabrics to avoid adding bulk, or copy Kate and try a soft vertical print to elongate. On warm days, a simple shift underneath lets you work the street style trend of a jacket draped around your shoulders.
