The initial inspiration behind Not a Boring Box struck Lauren in the midst of the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown.
She said: ‘I have always loved being organised and being efficient with every aspect of my time. During lockdown, I was spending a lot of time organising things at my home and realised that I couldn’t find a one-stop-shop for all things home storage in the UK.
‘I want to offer products that are aesthetically beautiful, but the must is that they are functional – there is no point decanting something into a pretty jar that won’t actually make your life any easier.
‘Good quality is key. For me, any focus on sustainability has got to mean good quality products that are built to last. We care about how our products are made and who makes them – and we aim for products that won’t cost the earth or cost our planet.’
