Amazing Luxuries You Could Buy for Your Car

We know that cars are expensive and yet the costs aren’t going to be changing any time soon. Fuel is pricey, getting a clean and a wax is pricey and that is something we all have to be aware of. However, if you are in a position where you are going to be able to add things to your car why not look at the luxuries available to you?

Some may say that fuel itself is a luxury and so you might consider loosening the purse strings a little for something more fun! For example, private number plates are an amazing addition to your car and can add a little personality, something it didn’t have previously. The payoff of this is absolutely worth it and while there’s an additional expense, you don’t have to cheat yourself out of the little joys, right? So, with that in mind, let’s take a closer look at some of the luxuries that you could buy for your car.

New tires. It’s not easy to shop for new tires, but if you go to the right professionals, you can ensure that you have the safest and best tires on the market. Most people just buy the cheapest ones that they can buy, and yet these are the part of the car that keeps it the most safe. You want to splash a little on these because, without those extras, you aren’t going to be the most safe that you can be on the road.

Built-in SatNav. With a built-in GPS and navigation system, you can get where you need to be with ease. You will spend a lot of money upgrading your dashboard and installing your GPS but it will still be cheaper than buying an entirely new car. With a new GPS installed, you can plug in your phone and you’re good to go. A smartphone is going to make a huge difference to your driving experience. GPS systems can be fiddly to use while you’re driving, however, so make a point of adding in your location before you get the car started.

Upgrade your car washing tools. Some people like to take their cars to the car wash or to a good hand wash, but if you plan to do it yourself it can help you to upgrade your tools and sponges, and even the towels you use. Don’t use the cheap stuff if you can upgrade to the more expensive, better towels and washing equipment. You can even use better wash and wax, cotton swabs and more tools and DIY from GreaseMonkey. It can be a chore to squeeze in a car wash when you do it yourself, but with the best drying clothes, you can ensure that your car looks fantastic and drives well.

Consider the safety add-ons. From parking assistance to anti-lock brakes, there are plenty of options you can use to give your car the boost it needs, and there are plenty of options that can help you feel safer while you drive. You can install things like blind spot information systems and collision avoidance, allowing you to see what’s lurking around you and stopping you from colliding with the car ahead! There are even higher-intensity headlights that you can upgrade to that will allow you to see further and for longer than before. These are something that come with a new safety margin and you can see the instant change in your car.

New windshield wiper blades. When was the last time you upgraded yours? Most people never do, believe it or not! It’s a luxury to be able to afford new wiper blades for your car, and new technologies can often mean that you have a new ‘beam type’ wiper blade. Older car owners can still keep up with this technology, but these are a pricier option. If you have the money for the upgrade, however, it’s definitely worth it! You want to choose an option that works for your car, and it won’t slush up or freeze if you’re driving in the winter – perfection!

Synthetic oil. When was the last time you changed the oil in the car? If you don’t know how to change your oil or when you should, speak to a professional mechanic. Choosing synthetic oil can make a big difference and it will also help you to not skip a service when you need it. You’ll appreciate the way that synthetic oil doesn’t break down as quickly, and if you lease your car, don’t bother! Keep the synthetic oils for your actual vehicle so that you know you can spend on it properly.

A new sound system. It wasn’t long ago that a factory-installed sound system was so new to the market that people chose not to get one. The pendulum has, however, swung in favour of the factory-installed systems. There are more choices, better and bigger designs, and things that make it more difficult to install it yourself. But, if you’re thinking about adding luxury, then it’s a luxury item to have someone install it for you, too!

Join a car club. Have you ever considered splurging out on a car club? You know that you need your car in the best possible working condition and joining a car club can help with the costs. You can keep your tires inflated, keys in one piece and a roadside service club that can come out to you. For a small cost, you can even ensure that you can get off-road discounts, too. From hotel discounts to car rental cost cuts, you can add this as a luxury for your car driving experience and it’s one you won’t regret paying for.

Having added luxuries in your car can and will make a big difference not only to your sanity, but to the way your car drives on the road. It’s going to make you feel like your driving is smoother and better – because it will be.
