Givenchy’s New Faces: Amanda, Carine and Julia
We’re used to seeing her blonde and bubbly, but in the new Givenchy A/W campaign, Amanda Seyfried debuts a decidedly darker, edgier look. Styled by the legendary Carine Roitfeld, the first advertising stills show the actress rocking blood-red lips and a soon-to-be-everywhere Bambi-print jumper.
Amanda, who is also the face of Givenchy’s Very Irresistible fragrance, and Spanish model Dalianaha Arekion are just the first duo in the advertising series shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. In keeping with the theme “all-in-the-family”, Carine Roitfeld and her daughter Julia Restoin Roitfeld will also star in another series to be released in July.
Inspired by the “gypsy feeling”, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci said he chose his muses because they “are real gypsies in their own lives. They are never in one place. They travel the world.”
