Cover Girl! Taylor Swift Covers the November Issue of Glamour

Country sweetheart Taylor Swift glows on the cover of Glamour’s November issue.

In the magazine, the 22-year-old star takes on an interview about relationships in Hollywood and being misunderstood as a celebrity.

Taylor confesses that girlfriends are extremely important to her, explaining, “I’m the kind of girl who needs to tell her friends everything. I’ve developed this really close-knit group of girls. Two of my close friends are bandmates.”

Aside from her bandmates, Taylor opens up about her celeb friendships with Emma Stone ad Selena Gomez. “I met Emma when I was 17, and I met Selena when I was 18. So they’ve experienced all of this with me, and they’ve also experienced their own amazing success, and somehow through all of it, we’ve stayed close.”

Taylor admits that she struggles with being misunderstood. “I think some people think it’s just apple pie and sunshine and sprinkles and ponies. Which is just funny. But I never feel the need to go out and make some grand statement that I’m dark and twisty and complicated, because I’m not that either. It’s just not as simple as ponies and rainbows, though I do love ponies and rainbows.”

The interview also features details on her relationship with the Kennedy’s and the success of her song Dear John, presumably about John Mayer.
