The Bridesmaid Edit: We’ve Tracked Down Eternal Classic Dresses From TH&TH

The crazy world of wedding planning is a tiring task, and finding unique bridesmaid dresses for your ladies isn’t easy, either. But fear not, we at YCB have tracked down a new up-and-coming label, TH&TH.

If you’re seeking something a bit different, but eternally classic, then this brand is revolutionising the wedding market with their stunning line up of luxurious yet affordable gowns. Guaranteed to make a grand entrance, brides beware: these swoon-worthy designs will make your heart skip a beat (or two)!

Founded by talented trio, Louie, Kitty and Ping, this lust-worthy label was officially unveiled in November 2016. Forming a long-lasting bond at fashion school back in the noughties, the close friends knew they’d collaborate on something special after discovering their mutual love for elegant eveningwear during their course.

The founders have an impressive background working with famous designers from the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Louis Vuitton, Temperley to Karl Lagerfeld, and have travelled the world, including the fashionable cities, New York and Hong Kong.

TH&TH, meaning “To Have and To Hold”, was born in 2014 when Louie struggled to find the most picture perfect frocks for her bridesmaids. The girls grouped together to draft their own designs, drawing upon their 15 years of global fashion experience. Together, they created the beautiful Alara and Charlotte gowns, which are now available to order from the collection.

Having wowed all guests at the wedding, the girls started to receive dress requests from family and friends. When strangers began to notice, they successfully went on to progress from first sketch to start-up business. And it’s not hard to see how they were catching the eye of many admirers everywhere.

Proving that love at first sight does exist, TH&TH boasts an enchanting selection of ready-to-wear dresses that any lady will adore in an instant. Inspired by bygone eras, the brand’s aesthetic is feminine and flirty, but with a fun mix of modernity.

The first collection fuses English country-chic with aninternational city twist – the TH&TH girl loves vintage pieces, but with a cool, contemporary and metropolitan edge. The designs are made for the bride who wants her best friends to stand by her in style and look just as beautiful as she does on her big day.

A living fairytale with the dreamiest of designs that let you play out your every princess fantasy, we’ve fallen for the ladylike lace and swishy chiffon fabrics, and romancing with the idea of twirling in pleated, ruffled silhouettes.

YCB’s favourite TH&TH gowns:

Alara in bluebird

From the archive, the Alara is one of the original designs by TH&TH. The graceful gown flaunts a lovely lace overlay in a beautiful blue hue, with delicate scalloped trims, eyelash edging and a silky bow waist. It’s made to flatter with a figure-fitted bodice, plunging back and swooping train.

Charlotte in blush

The Charlotte made its debut at co-founder Louie’s very own wedding. A maxi dress with maximum impact, we’re crushing on the lush blush palette and delicate lace finish. The backless design features a floor-length skirt, fitted bodice and beautiful bow sash.

Bardot in navy

Channelling retro red carpet glamour, the Bardot showcases an off-the-shoulder design with a ballerina-worthy flowing tulle skirt. This versatile dress can be worn in multiple ways: as a sultry Bardot, with spaghetti straps for support or as a strapless bustier.

Olympia in silver mist

The Olympia is the epitome of easy elegance with an understated yet striking silhouette. This backless beauty features a pretty halter neck with layers of romantic ruffles and a long swishy skirt that moves gracefully down the aisle.

Each dress listed is available in other colours, with a choice of soft pastels, nudes, silvers and blues. Privé service also enables the customer to request more colour and size options.

With expert craftsmanship and the finest of fabrics, TH&TH sell their dresses at modest prices of £135 to £180. The innovative brand wishes to break hearts, not bank accounts, soevery bride can dress her favourite girls in the most glamorous of gowns, whatever the budget.
