Until Spring, lovers.
Let’s kick off the new year with fresh colours and fun prints!
2015 is here and the office is abuzz with resolutions, green juices, and gym memberships (we are still finding random bits of glitter and tinsel from all the Christmas festivities). Pumpkin spice lattes will soon give way to light, fruity drinks sipped through a straw and salads will be the only acceptable thing for lunch. With winter on its way out, it’s time to say goodbye to the all black ensembles and start thinking about adding some bold colours and prints to your wardrobe. Enter Propia Scarpa, with their chic colourful ballerina flats and slippers. Filled with pretty styles in stunning colours and prints there’s a pair for everyone and every style.
The brand’s designer and Creative Director Carmen Sanchez-Cid describes Propia Scarpa as “Creative, quality, uniqueness” and the styles radiate this. We’ll take the Giselle ballet flat in every colour! Its chic contrast detail makes these stunners total stand out flats to step into the office.
Coffee dates just got more spruced up, as did our January wardrobe. Carmen recommends “Tuxedo trousers, blazer with sequins and the final touch – Golden Night Daphne Slippers,” as the perfect date night look. We love! The Daphne slippers and Giselle ballet pumps are the perfect day to night flats. As a designer it must be difficult to choose a favourite piece. The Daphne slippers come in an array of stunning colours, but Carmen says that recently she has been wearing the grey leopard print slippers during the holidays, as they go the extra mile. With a collection full of colour and what Carmen refers to as “style with a sense of happiness”, each Propia Scarpa flat is exactly what you need to brighten up January and beyond. After Christmas it can feel like a state of limbo, but in your shoes you’ll feel better than ever and ready to take on 2015 in style.
Carmen cites inspiration from her travels and gets empowered by women that differentiate themselves knowing what they want in life with strong personality. Her travel background is extensive but it’s here in London where the style stands out; “London today is such an international city that you can see all kinds of styles right here. I do love the way some English girls mix there outfits fearlessly.” Having a background in fashion under her belt, Carmen recognized how important a shoe is to an outfit and it went from there. One shoe can change your whole look and that’s the result of Propia Scarpa, a flat to transform.
It looks like we could be ditching the heels in favour of flats at this rate. Fear not, there’ll always be a heel or two in sight in the office but these colourful flats will become a permanent fixture in our office look this January. What better way to kick off 2015!
