Fall Style Series: Madison X Blushington

Fall style series: Madison X Blushington

Fall has always been our favorite season and as we greet the arrival of the colder months, we must also revitalise our wardrobes for a whole new academic year. Whatever goals you have set yourself this year – whether that is getting a First in your degree, scoring that interview, finding yourself a dream internship, or landing your dream man – nothing can boost your confidence and create that positive mind-set better than a whole new look. It’s time to buckle down and get through the goals you’ve set for the year.

There is no doubt that the summer ran at a casual, laid-back pace and as much as we’d love to be sipping on sangria while wearing a cute bikini, it’s time for things to get more serious – the clothes too. So, trade in your floral shorts and well-worn tees for suits, plaid shirts and tailored coats.

Madison and Blushington have concocted a quick and simple guide to rejuvenating your closet and finding a whole new look. See the entire confection below for expert to-do’s and tips to looking good and feeling incredible for the rest of the year!

get the perfect holiday look

MADISON STYLE TIPS

Tip 1.  You don’t have to wear something that shouts holiday to a holiday party . A subtle dress can speak volumes of elegance and party chic just as well.

Tip 2.  Rock an ultra cool shoe number with Jerome Rousseau. This velvet creation is so on trend for the fall, and most importantly, it’s comfortable and can be worn after the holidays are over.

Tip 3.  Top the look with a Vita Fede bracelet to complete the entire look with a super simple accent .

BLUSHINGTON MAKE-UP TIPS

Tip 1. Use a heavier of a foundation so it will last all throughout the party of a night and celebration. Try using an oil free foundation to help ensure it lasts.

Tip 2. Go with a smokier eye to dress up the beauty look to go along with your chic outfit.

Tip 3. As berry and plum are the colors of this season, make sure you use a berry blush on the cheeks, and a pigmented plum color for the lip. The dark-rich lip will make your look a little more dramatic, dressed up, and of course festive!
