Scandinavian Vibe: The Dressing Room offers goodies from Scandinavian top designers
With Fashion Week in full swing, what’s going on in Stockholm, New York, London, Milan and Paris is the hot topic on everyone’s lips. It’s not often that St Albans is placed on the same lofty pedestal as the vibrant fashion capitols of the world. However, there is a gleaming fashion gem in the picturesque market town that has fashionistas falling over themselves to visit. Owned and operated by retail and fashion maven Deryane Tadd, The Dressing Room has gone from strength to strengths and established itself an envious reputation. Tadd’s extensive background in retail and buying is impressive – she served French Connection Franchises as their top Buying and Operations executive for seven years.
Tadd made the leap into launching her own boutique in 2005 by opening The Dressing Room. Ever since, The Dressing Room and Tadd have gained a reputation for approachable luxury. The Dressing Room has re-christened September as “Scandi Style Month”; to mark the occasion they are collaborating with top UK bloggers to review their Scandinavian brands, offering up goodies from Day Birger et Mikkelsen, Twist & Tango, Becksoondergaard, Rosemunde and more. After seeing the effortlessly chic and easy breezy collections on show at Stockholm Fashion week, we at Your Coffee Break couldn’t be more thrilled to see these fabulous Scandi collections being celebrated in the UK; they bring a minimalistic and cool vibe to any woman’s wardrobe.
