Georgia Hardinge X River Island

Georgia Hardinge X River Island

River Island has joined forces with British designer Georgia Hardinge as design forum returns for SS13.

It’s looking to be another successful year for River Island’s Design Forum initiative with the the third collaboration with young British designer, Georgia Hardinge for Spring/Summer 2013.

Georgia Hardinge is known for her innovative, avant garde design. Her SS13 looks are unique and cool, yet totally wearable. The young British designer’s signature designs take inspiration from architectural style, focussing on sculpture and the contour of the female silhouette, creating cutting edge creations which are themselves, deemed to be works of arts.

Her prints are almost hypnotic, if you stare at them long enough, they might actually start moving. Although the idea might be intimidating, the prints actually help disguise any imperfections your shape may have. These are the prints that make Georgia Hardinge’s designs stand out among other young and cool designers.

British born, Georgia graduated from the Parsons Paris School of Art and Design and launched her first collection during London Fashion Week in 2009. The Georgia Hardinge label has from then grown from strength to strength over the past couple of years and she has collaborated with worldwide companies such as Victoria’s Secret and Lancome and she has also dressed celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

It is safe to say Georgia Hardinge is moving up in the fashion world and we are looking forward to seeing much more of this brilliant designer in the future!
