Lily James keeps it modern in Dior
It’s not all cinched waists, illusion lace and glass slippers for Lily James. Though her Cinderella press tour was decidedly Disney Princess-inspired, the Downton Abbey actress peppered in a few more subdued looks.
Take this Dior dress, for example, which James wore to the film’s Toronto premier. Thanks to its covered buttons and empire waist, it still gives some serious “happily ever after” vibes, but it could also fit in seamlessly at a business dinner or company event. Sophisticated, regal, with just a touch of whimsy, i.e. just the way a real princess should be.
