The 39th annual People’s Choice Awards took place last night, 9th of Jan, at the Nokia Theatre in Hollywood, and it was a spectacular event!
There were 48 different award categories, encompassing different accolades for Film, Television and Music and each award was chosen directly by fans. Whilst there were numerous winners throughout the night, it was The Hunger Games that dominated the award ceremony, winning a total of 5 awards, including ‘Favourite Movie’ and ‘Favourite Action Movie’. Katy Perry came in at close second, winning 4 awards, including Favourite Female Artist.
‘Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress’-winner Emma Watson was stunning as-per-usual in a cutting-edge, Peter Pilotto graphic cut-out and peplum dress. But in our opinion, Taylor Swift was a double winner at the award ceremony. In addition to winning the ‘Favourite Country Artist’ award, her figure hugging, plunge-neckline Ralph Lauren dress with turquoise earrings, won stole our hearts. She accompanied the crisp-white dress perfectly with a bold smoky-eye.
