Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz were spotted at the Obama Victory Fund 2012 dinner at the Mayfair in London (Sep 19.)
The event was hosted by Miss Gwyneth herself, fashion designer Tom Ford, and editor Ana Wintour at the Mayfair’s exclusive dining room Mark’s club . The trio brought in London’s most lavish and stylish guests to support President Obama’s reelection.
Also attending was Gwyneth’s close friend Cameron Diaz. The blonde duo were dressed to the nines, Paltrow in a skin-tight white gown and Diaz in a super chic pink jumper. The actresses were joined by a few other film and fashion stars, including Natalie Massenet, founder of Net-a-porter and the new chair of the British Fashion Council. The intimate dinner was rated to over $15,000 per seat.
Already donating $35,000 to the Democratic National Committee and the Obama Victory Fund, the event was one of many events hosted by Anna Wintour to support Obama. However, the dinner at Mark’s Club was the first for Paltrow and Ford, who both have made large donations in the past.
