Use Heat Protectant

If you have a hair type that doesn’t allow you to simply brush and go, then it is vital to use a heat protectant. This can be purchased at your local beauty store and is designed to ensure that moisture is locked in without applying harsh chemicals to the hair.

Apply to the hair when wet and work through from root to tip for full protection before blow-drying and styling.

Shower Less

Though it may seem tempting to get a fluffy brush for your hair, this can cause more damage than you would first think as it does not detangle the knots it makes, instead it makes it much worse.
