Allison Williams Just Showed Us How to Wear Fifty Shades of Gray

Gray can get a bad rap. Most young women try to cover up if they see it appear in their hair and because it is not as bold as black or white but rather a shade of gray, many people write it off as a “blah” colour. Plus if you wear more than one gray clothing item at a time, everyone makes the 50 Shades of Gray joke.

But Allison Williams proved the joke was on them with her latest ensemble. The Get Out and Girls actress who is now starring on Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Event wore gray on top of gray and then more gray to promote the series.

Allison mixed her gray or pewter silky blouse and pants with a long gray trench coat and then topped it off with a gray belt to pull it all together beautifully. No, her shoes weren’t gray but instead perfectly chic dark olive velvet heels.

This outfit is effortlessly chic and a perfect winter ensemble. Williams is a very subtle fashion star always looking incredible but never making a huge deal about it. She was spotted rocking, what seems to be her favourite colour, gray once again as she paired a gorgeous dress with a long brown and gray coat scoring an elegant yet simple look.
