From parties to premieres, Kimberlee Oo brings us the weekly red carpet wrap-up.
It’s officially award season and we couldn’t be more excited! After all the glitz and the glamour of the Golden Globes this week, it was impossible to choose just one best dressed, so we’ve narrowed it down to our top three. And the winners are…
We haven’t seen much of Lucy Liu lately, but the 44-year-old (can you believe it?!) certainly made a mega red carpet comeback in a Carolina Herrera frock. The vintage-inspired floral print jumps out from the sky blue background, while the voluminous shape not only adds drama, but also emphasizes Lucy’s tiny waist. A messy side braid tones down the OTT-factor, instead keeping it refreshingly casual.
Compared to all the metallics and sequins that so often appear at these big events, this divine floral gown really makes its mark.
We’re not only jealous of Emily because she’s a match made in heaven with John Krasinski, but also because she gets it right pretty much all the time when it comes to red carpet dressing.
The 2013 Best Actress nominee certainly won over all the critics in her Michael Kors sheath. Featuring delicate gold embroidery, sexy side slits and a cut-out back, Emily flaunted her trim figure in a total A-list way. Fuchsia earrings, a high bun and a handsome hubby accessory, make her a Best Dressed winner in our eyes.
Okay, it’s no secret that we’re kinda obsessed with Miranda. But seriously, can you blame us? The Victoria’s Secret model was sex on legs at this year’s awards… even Orlando Bloom couldn’t take his eyes off her. Tapping into this season’s hottest shade, the Aussie supermodel wowed in an oxblood Zuhair Murad gown, showing off her killer pins with a racy thigh-high split. An equally revealing neckline might have been too much on anyone else, but Miranda makes it sexy, not skanky. A berry lip, dark nails and her famous bombshell waves complete her 10/10 score.
