Father’s Day: 30% of Dads do THIS Classic Dad-ism – Do Yours?
It’s Father’s Day on Sunday 15th June, a time to celebrate the generosity, support and love of the father figures in people’s lives, but what are the classic dad traits that makes them who they are? A new study by thortful, questioned Brits to find out the most common “classic dad” behaviours in the UK. From replying ‘OK’ or a thumbs up emoji to any message, doing famously loud sneezes, complaining about money saying “how much?!” and many more.
Card creators at thortful have also created a range of cards dedicated to the endearing actions for the ideal Father’s Day gift.
The most popular dad behaviour, with almost a third (30%) of Brits confessing that their dad is guilty of doing it on a regular basis, is when their father falls asleep on the sofa after saying “he’s just resting his eyes.” This is followed by blunt message replies, when dads reply ‘Ok’ or a thumbs up emoji to anything you send them (21%). The champions of a loud sneeze, sneezing loudly is ranked third with almost one in five (19%) people claiming their dad does them.
