Did Emma Stone Have Plastic Surgery? Experts Weigh In

January 23, 2026

One of the most talked-about stars at this year’s Golden Globes was none other than Emma Stone. Stepping out in a playful Louis Vuitton butter-cream two-piece, the actress left fans stunned by her taut, flawless complexion, with many netizens seeing noticeable differences from her earlier appearances. Experts say it’s possible the actress may have indeed gone under the knife.

Dr Gizem Seymenoglu, a medical aesthetician, and Dr Hassan, a London-based plastic surgeon suspect the actress may have undergone a combination of surgical and non-surgical procedures to achieve her new look.

According to Dr Gizem: “If you compare Emma’s face now to her older photos, the difference seems pretty obvious to me, and one of the most noticeable changes is in her eye area.

“Emma’s eyes were noticeably hooded before, and her crease was barely visible. However, it’s a completely different story now, and to me, it looks like she might have had an upper blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery.

The scar from this kind of surgery is deliberately hidden in the natural crease of the eyelid, so it’s virtually invisible and really hard to confirm,” the expert further explained.

Interestingly, the aesthetician noted that the 37-year-old’s new hairstyle might even be hiding a potential surgery.

“Emma’s also gone for a completely new hairstyle, particularly the bangs, which I think might be hiding something. In particular, it seems like something was done to lift her eyebrows, perhaps an eyebrow lift surgery, to give them more of an arch. That might have changed her hairline, and the bangs could be providing a clever camouflage.

I do not believe that this was achieved with Botox, because that alone cannot achieve the kind of arch she currently has.”

Longevita’s plastic surgeon Dr Hassan also agreed that the actress may have had a brow lift, or possibly even Botox, to achieve that lifted, cat-eye effect. He further suggested the Oscar winner may have had buccal fat removal to get more chiselled cheeks.

Regarding speculation around her nose and lips, the aesthetician doesn’t believe there’s “much of a difference.” Dr Hassan also agreed that a full rhinoplasty seems unlikely, though he suggested she may have had subtle nasal tip refinement using filler injections.

Focusing on Emma’s chin, the aesthetician noted that the actress may have had a bio-stimulatory filler, like diluted Radiesse or Sculptra, which gives her chin a sharper, more pointed appearance. However, Dr Gizem also suggested that part of this effect could be due to weight loss.

As for her flawless skin, the aesthetician believes it could be the result of excellent skincare. “She may also have had some resurfacing treatments, like laser therapy or chemical peels for that because her skin looks picture-perfect.”
