New Brand blossom & beau Launches a Natural Deodorant Designed for Tween and Teen Girls
A new British brand, blossom & beau, has officially launched. Its e-commerce site is now live featuring the brand’s inaugural product, a natural deodorant designed specifically for tween and teen girls. Founded by Amanda Johnson, a Wiltshire mother of five and dedicated NHS paramedic, the brand’s concept took shape following her own search for a natural, kid-friendly deodorant for her then seven-year-old daughter, Chloe.

The idea for the brand began nearly three years ago, when Amanda noticed a strong smell of sweaty armpits during school pick-up. Following a gentle conversation, the mum and daughter went to their local pharmacy and then to a leading supermarket to find a suitable deodorant, but instead found bottles and sprays filled with chemicals and skin-irritating ingredients. None were tailored to young girls navigating a time of change in their lives. It was a light-bulb moment for Amanda.
“Every option on the high street was designed for adults, with scents and packaging that didn’t fit my daughter’s world,” Amanda explains. “Reluctantly, we left with a standard adult roll-on, but it felt more like a compromise than a solution.”
Amanda took her search online, but found the options were either costly or not quite right for young girls. “I couldn’t help but wonder: why should parents have to choose between products that don’t fit and ones that break the bank?”
Determined to create something better, Amanda began working with highly regarded UK-based formulators to develop a deodorant that was natural, effective, and thoughtfully created with young girls in mind—from its gentle formulation to its uplifting scent and age-appropriate branding. After extensive research, testing, and refinement, Dazzling Diva was born.
Amanda explains: “I wanted to produce a deodorant that was safe for girls as young as seven, when early puberty can start. It also needed to be non-sticky, quick-drying, as natural as possible, and gentle on delicate skin. Furthermore, it had to smell amazing and not be plain and boring.”
