Golden Globes 2026: The Jewellery Trends Set to Dominate
Awards season is in full swing, and the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet delivered a masterclass in jewellery styling. From bold diamond statements to delicate, everyday-worthy pieces, plus a fresh take on pearls, silver, and coloured gemstones, jewellery is very much the star of the show this year.
Across the red carpet, diamonds appeared in dramatically different forms. Extravagant high jewellery necklaces stole the spotlight, while delicate pendants, fine chains, and softly dangling earrings offered a quieter, yet equally striking, sense of glamour.
According to jewellery brand PRYA, the night’s most memorable looks revealed clear trends that will shape how we wear diamonds, pearls, and precious metals throughout 2026.
Statement Necklaces are Back

Extravagant diamond necklaces made a triumphant comeback, worn as standalone focal points against sleek, sculptural gowns. Rather than feeling overdone, these pieces were styled with intention, bold silhouettes balanced by refined settings.
Amanda Seyfried epitomised the trend in a striking Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace, styled simply to let the piece shine on its own. Blackpink’s Lisa made a similarly dramatic statement in a five-tier Bvlgari high jewellery necklace, proving that statement diamonds can feel both modern and powerful.
“Statement jewellery is back, but it’s being styled with restraint,” says Arwa Hassan, in-house style director at PRYA. “The focus is on one standout piece that speaks for itself.”
Delicate Diamonds Take Centre Stage

On the other end of the spectrum, some of the most elegant looks relied on simplicity. Fine diamond chains, dainty pendants, and gently dangling earrings added movement and sparkle without overpowering the outfit, a trend that feels just as wearable off the red carpet.
Jennifer Lawrence, for example, paired a delicate oval-cut diamond necklace with a floral Givenchy gown, letting the jewellery elevate the look rather than dominate it. “Women are approaching jewellery in a new way,” says Arwa. “Pieces that feel elevated yet effortless, and can be worn day or night.”

Pearls, Silver and Coloured Stones Feel Modern Again
Pearls continued their renaissance, shedding tradition in favour of contemporary styling. Silver jewellery emerged as a quiet standout, offering a cool, modern alternative to yellow gold, while coloured gemstones added personality and individuality to diamond-heavy ensembles.
Miley Cyrus added a pop of colour with a Tiffany & Co. emerald pendant, showing how gemstones can inject playfulness into a classic diamond-focused look.

Brooches and Rule-Breaking Styling
One of the most memorable trends came from unexpected placements: diamond brooches worn on lapels, jackets, and even asymmetrically across the body. This gender-fluid, rule-free styling reflects a broader fashion shift towards individuality over convention.
Colman Domingo, for instance, accessorised a custom Valentino suit with diamond Boucheron brooches pinned across his lapel, proving that jewellery can be both bold and personal.

“Jewellery in 2026 is about self-expression,” says Arwa. “There are no rules anymore, it’s about wearing pieces in ways that feel authentic to you.”
As awards season continues, one thing is clear: jewellery is no longer playing a supporting role. In 2026, it’s the star of the show.
