The Exact False Lashes Maura Higgins Wore at the Traitor’s Reunion 

Known and loved for her Irish charm, bubbly personality and iconic one-liners, it’s no surprise that the nation’s sweetheart Maura Higgins is making headlines with her latest beauty and fashion looks. From her recent breathtaking BAFTA look, to her countless stylish fits during this season of The US Traitors, if there’s one thing about Maura it’s that she always looks impeccable. 

Here, we have worked with the beauty experts at FalseEyelashes.co.uk to share exactly how to recreate Maura’s soft, smoky eye as well as where to get your hands on her exact false eyelashes. 

Saffron Hughes, makeup artist at FalseEyelashes.co.uk shares with YCB her top tips for recreating Maura’s signature smoky eye. 

Step by step 

Step one: Using a light-medium brown shade (close to the shade of your bronzer) as your transition shade on a bigger fluffy eyeshadow brush and blend into your crease and defuse outwards towards the tail of your brows for a lifted, winged out shape. Continue blending into the crease to build up the pigment for your desired look.

Step two: Using a pale matte nude shade & a flat but fluffy eyeshadow brush, pat the shadow onto the eyelid area only to brighten the area and allow for a solid matte base before eyeliner application.

Step three: Choose your desired liquid or gel eyeliner and apply a thin line along the lash line and into a wing at the outer corners of your eyes. With a small detail eyeshadow brush and a dark brown eyeshadow, softly blend and diffuse the eyeliner along the lash line, for a soft, smokey finish.
