So, if you’re really looking to pull out all the stops, look no further than Fenchurch Restaurant. Head chef Kerth Gumbs combines British ingredients with Caribbean flavours in his indulgent six-course Valentine’s tasting menu.

Start with a glass of champagne and an array of snacks, including native oyster with blood orange and cucumber; pumpkin cappuccino; beef tartare taco with smoked oyster emulsion and smoked duck, before indulging in main courses of Cornish crab; Lumina lamb and Wagyu.

The meal ends on a sweet note with Fenchurch’s iconic soursop and pink peppercorn whisky gummy bears followed by brown butter shortbread with white chocolate and prosecco jelly.

Table for Two with a View at Sky Garden Bars

Nothing says romance like an intimate table for two with champagne, a stunning view of London’s glittering skyline and great music. Head 35 levels up to Sky Garden’s bars – Sky Pod and City Garden to enjoy a bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut with a sharing artisan antipasti board against a soundtrack of chilled date night sounds courtesy of the resident DJ.

Date Night at Larch

For a laidback and romantic date night, head to Italian restaurant Larch, situated directly opposite Sky Garden. A two-piece band will be serenading diners with sultry sounds as they enjoy the three-course Valentine’s menu that includes black truffle arancini; chicken saltimbocca; and parmigiana di melanzane. Recreate the famous ‘Lady and The Tramp’ moment with main course; pappardelle withslow-cooked meatballs. Decadent dolce include tiramisu, chocolate tart and panna cotta.
