On Our Wish-List this Valentine’s Day: Anne Sisteron Fine Jewelry
Valentine’s Day is the most romantic holiday for serious and not-so-serious couples alike. And whether your Valentine’s Day date involves staying cozy at home with a movie or a weekend getaway in the wine country, the best way to set the mood with your partner is by donning some bling.
It’s not only diamonds that are a girl’s best friend, sparkle, pearls and band rings are fabulous friends to have too, especially when they come looking as stunning as the pieces that can be found at Anne Sisteron Fine Jewelry.
Born in Paris, to Danish diplomat parents, designer Anne Sisteron began her love for timeless jewelry from an early age. Despite her natural talent and eye for distinction, her years working as a model for ELITE exposed her to the visions of designers around the world, further influencing her classic yet forward style.
It wasn’t until Anne attended a wedding that her stunning grey pearl necklace was spotted by several high profile Hollywood agents. They were so in love with her style that they inquired purchasing some as gifts for their high profile clients. From that moment on, Anne Sisteron Fine Jewelry was born.
Anne currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons, her true inspirations. “Having the right team who feels the same way I do is one of the keys to success,” Anne explains. “Also passion, perseverance and organization helps as well. I could never manage this business by myself. Although I do work all the time and am very hands on with my business, I have an incredible and wonderful team.”
Fine jewelry is the perfect gift for the special woman in your life. Anne and her client’s favourite pieces right now are ear cuffs as well as her Valentine necklaces. “I personally think there is nothing sexier than my Taken and Love Necklace because it wraps the words around your neck,” she tells YCB.
When it comes to executing design plans, there is not one piece in any collection that Anne wouldn’t proudly wear herself. In her Beverly Hills store, her vision comes to life and if the piece speaks to her, then it makes the cut. “There are no rules – I mix all gold colors at all times,” Anne says. “just as I don’t believe in perfectly matching my purse to my shoes.” Jewelry boundaries of years gone by have definitely blurred. In fact, wearing all the same metal colour can sometimes look a bit too matchy. The “stacking trend” lends itself perfectly to the mixing of metals. Mixing and matching is all part of the fun. As long as the jewelry is fabulous and makes you feel fabulous, nothing else matters!
Anne loves getting feedback on her social media channels. “Nothing makes me happier than when clients like your jewellery,” she says. “Lots of one of a kind pieces are posted and then within hours, they sell. It is pretty remarkable to me how amazing social media is. I was hesitant at first, but then some of the younger members of my team insisted and it built a whole new component to my business.”
