The man responsible for this gorgeous design began his career in footwear working under shoe designer Charles Jourdan as a buyer and store manager. In 1985 he moved to Stephane Kelian, a prestigious shoe brand based in New York City, serving as president and developing designs for the American Market.
Cazabat was sensing a gap in the market for flirty, whimsical yet fashionable shoes and he soon set out to create footwear encompassing all occasions, from stylish business-wear to flamboyant evening wear. Displaying a penchant for exotic skins and vibrant hues, his design also feature carefully considered detailing, such as braiding, piping and top-stitching to create wonderfully feminine shoes with an edge.
