Ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026, Marks & Spencer transformed the pit lane into a spectacular runway, with 50 modelsshowcasing the latest M&S collection against the backdrop of team cars and race-day engineering.
With hundreds of thousands of fans expected at Silverstone over the Grand Prix weekend, the show marks what will be a packed weekend at one of the UK’s biggest sporting events of the year.

M&S accelerates its Summer of Love That with a landmark moment at the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026, staging the first-ever fashion show on Silverstone’s iconic pit lane, placing itself firmly on the grid. Brought to life by a cast of 50 models moving through the working garages, the show unfolds against the backdrop of team cars and race-day engineering, placing fashion at the heart of the action.

Silverstone is set to welcome half a million fans across the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026 weekend, with over 1.8 billion cumulative viewers expected to tune in globally. Formula 1 now ranks among the world’s most-followed sports, offering a platform of unmatched global scale and cultural reach.
The show sits within M&S’ wider multi-year partnership with Silverstone Circuit, establishing a sustained presence across its annual calendar. Spanning everything from track days and hospitality to fan zones, music and entertainment, the partnership sees M&S showing up across the worldwide events that matter most, including key events such as Formula 1, MotoGP and CarFest.

Bringing together fashion, sport and culture at scale, M&S positions itself at the heart of one of the world’s most visible sporting arenas, reframing Formula 1 as the new catwalk. With races spanning 21 countries across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Asia, Formula 1 offers unmatched reach, positioning M&S at the centre of a truly global stage.

Having set the tone earlier this season, Love That now reaches its boldest expression yet: Dress to Thrill, a fashion-forward edit built for real plans, real pace and standout summer moments.
Staged against the raw energy of the pit lane, the show was brought to life in front of a guest list spanning fashion, culture and motorsport, including M&S ambassador Jodie Kidd.

On the catwalk, M&S presented a confident, fashion-forward take on summer dressing across womenswear and menswear, elevated through unexpected styling and modern layering. Lingerie-inspired corsetry was layered over crisp shirting, while swim silhouettes were reworked with tailoring, creating looks that felt directional yet wearable. Across every category, the focus remains on versatility and longevity, with pieces designed to work harder across the season, delivering real value for customers.
The collection moves between sleek monochrome, soft neutrals and rich tones, punctuated with hits of racing red, a subtle nod to the track while remaining grounded in everyday wearability. Denim anchors the edit with a contemporary edge, from cropped trucker jackets paired with barrel-leg jeans to clean, structured silhouettes styled with satin and lace. Tailored separates, including fluid palazzo trousers and scarf-neck tops, bring polish to day-to-night dressing, while statement pieces, from asymmetric lace dresses to softly structured skirts, deliver standout moments across the collection.
Leather cuts through the edit, adding edge and attitude, from structured separates to bold accents. Select looks also incorporate pieces from M&S’ partnership with Atlassian Williams Racing, with the Autograph performance travel kit introducing a technical, sport-led finish to the styling. Outerwear adds a functional dimension, with lightweight parkas and ripstop jackets designed for the unpredictability of the British summer, while sharp accessories, including pointed courts, complete the looks with a considered finish.

The Dress to Thrill edit is available to shop now online and in store, with new pieces dropping throughout the summer, offering customers a steady stream of newness across the season.
The show can be watched on Youtube tomorrow 3rd July.
Sharry Cramond, Marketing Director for Fashion, Home & Beauty at M&S, said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with Silverstone across its incredible season, including the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026. Bringing fashion to the track like this, with the first ever pit lane fashion show, is a really bold step for us, and a great example of how we’re showing up in new, unexpected ways at the UK’s biggest moments and delivering something that no one has done before.
At M&S, we’re focused on being part of what people really care about, and it doesn’t get bigger than this. From our partnership with Atlassian Williams Racing to being right here at Silverstone, we’re adding even more style, energy and excitement for our customers.
