Embrace the Danish Culture of Hygge with Cosy Candles

It’s officially our favourite time of the year, we’re in a wonderful bubble of red coffee cups, faux fur, and cosy nights in with our girlfriends. The Christmas vibes are beginning to creep in and this winter we’re going to be embracing hygge once again and giving our apartments a cosy makeover to see us through the colder months. Think beautiful faux fur blankets, warm lighting, and flickering candles. Why go out when you can stay in with Saturday night TV, a delicious home cooked dinner and plenty of belly laughs with your bestests. RIP to our social lives, we’re on a break.

One of our most recent cosy hygge discoveries that’s already shot its way up to our ‘office favourites’ list is cruelty free candle makers Copper Bay Candles. If you haven’t already heard of them, listen up…

Established in 2018, Copper Bay Candles have fast become a social media favourite. It’s not hard to see why either! Affordable candles in beautiful scents and beautiful packaging. Copper Bay use only high-quality soy wax and fragrance oils in their products, using no animal derivatives or animal testing in the process. These vegan friendly formulas are eco and environmentally friendly, and the best bit? They smell amazing!

The office has enjoyed an array of beautiful winter scents this week as we test out these candles (it’s a hard life) all in the name of research! Each candle is made to order and personalisation can be added to all of the Copper Bay Candles, making them the perfect Christmas gift for your bestie, colleague, sister, mum or nan.

All orders are hand packaged and gift wrapped too for that extra personal touch. You can choose from a variety of different candle design options including a gorgeous copper tin, a matte black jar with a copper lid, a striking white matte jar, and clear glass jars too!

All of the Copper Bay Candles arrive in a luxury gift box, so if you’re seeking the perfect present for homeware lovers, look no further! We’ve picked out our favourites from the collection…

This yummy vanilla candle is a delicious autumn scent that offers just the right amount of sweetness. We adore the white matte jar which will great in minimalist homes, the copper lid and writing adds an elegant touch.
