Sarah Jessica Parker can’t stop. She has her hands in so many businesses in addition to still continuing to act and produce. But with her HBO series Divorce coming to an end after three seasons she decided to pick up the slack by starting a wine line. This is in addition to her shoe line, her perfume line, and her book imprint in addition to her film and television projects.
The wines are in collaboration with New Zealand-based wine company Invivo & Co. and she will be producing a Sauvignon Blanc and a Rosé to start.
She announced the news on Instagram recently. “X, marks the drop! Proud to reveal and introduce Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc!” Parker wrote. “First samples just arrived in NYC from the famous Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough region in New Zealand. I’ve popped the cork and am now even more excited for its September worldwide launch!”
As for how she came up with the name Parker turned no further than her email signature and the teal blue X is clearly one of her favorite colours as it is also featured in her shoe collection.
Parker certainly isn’t the first celebrity to start her own wine line (Bon Jovi, Brad Pitt, Dwayne Wade, Nicki Minaj and, of course, Ramona Singer, have all gotten into the wine game) but it will be interesting to see how hers does. It’s not a Cosmopolitan but people love their wine.
