The House of Song Celebrates Girl Power on International Women’s Day!

Ladies, gather your girl squad! It’s International Women’s Day on Thursday 8th March. The House of Song is celebrating at London’s only non-stop, audience-requested live music venues –  The Piano Works in Farringdon and recently-opened Studio 88, next to Leicester Square.

From feminist punk to 90’s girl power, The House of Song musicians will be taking your track requests all night long to help you celebrate women in music. Expect them all to be turning the amps up and bringing the house down.

As Beyonce once said – who run the world? GIRLS. There’s no better way to toast powerful, strong, kickass women than with one hell of a cocktail. The mixologists from The House of Song have crafted a limited-edition cocktail – The Ultra Violet is a strikingly purple drink that nods to the colours of the suffragette movement. This special serve of Tanqueray, violet liqueur, Luxardo Maraschino and fresh lemon is light, airy and smooth on the tongue and is sure to please everyone.

Available all night, each drink is just £5 with £1 from every cocktail being donated to the Music Venue Trust and their ‘fight back’ campaign to support women in the music industry.

So grab your friends and raise a glass, The House of Song is the place to be this International Women’s Day.
