Style, Comfort & Adventure with Lighthouse Clothing
Not many people know this about me, but I hail from the serene landscapes of Sweden. Growing up with the deep forests, stunning oceans, and vibrant fields right at my doorstep has deeply shaped who I am. As a young girl, my weekdays were filled with school and laughter with friends, but the weekends were pure adventure. My parents would whisk my brothers and me away into nature’s embrace—hiking trails, exploring forests, fishing, and camping. Returning to school on Mondays after an entire weekend in nature, I remember having this warm feeling combined with an uplifted spirit and sharpened focus. These cherished moments spent in the nature also deepened our bond as a family and instilled a love for the great outdoors. So it comes as no surprise, that as a parent, I find joy in passing down the love for nature to my daughter. While she’s still too young for camping (she’s only five), we are renting cozy cabins, cooking meals in the forest, exploring and learning about animals in the woods, and many days have been spent by the ocean. I have found that these are the kind of moments that matter the most – they create lasting memories and it’s where my daughter’s true happiness resides.
Remembering being a young girl growing up in Sweden- especially in my teenage years, shopping usually meant treasure hunt trips for the kind of slow luxury items that blended function with a touch of elegance. Already as a young girl, I preferred quality items to fast fashion. High quality coats and stunning gilets made for looking smart on nature walks, fleeces and snug jumpers, waterproof and windproof rain jackets in gorgeous shades and adorable high quality kids’ clothing. These are all items that are worth investing in and caring for.
The brand design weather-ready coats in Northern Ireland (and ship within the UK and EU) inspired by the wild coastline of Ireland and a love of simpler living. They just launched their new Autumn/Winter range, so I am excited to share this recent new discovery!

The innovative designs and impeccable quality made me so happy that I had included some good pieces for Celia in the order too. Designed for everyday adventures, their pieces are absolutely adorable!
