This Autumn’s Hottest Fashion Trend? Inspired By Your Favourite Coffee

October 7, 2025

This autumn, fashion is embracing caffeine culture. From creamy latte to deep espresso and pistachio green, coffee-inspired tones are dominating everything from hair colour and knitwear to coats, trousers and accessories. Pinterest Trends reports a surge in interest, with searches for “vanilla latte blonde hair” up 2,000%, “coffee brown pants outfit” up 600% and “matcha outfit” up 300%. The appeal lies in the palette’s versatility: soft latte hues offer comfort, rich espresso shades bring depth and polish, and muted greens add an unexpected pop of colour.

Texture and layering are key to nailing the look, think chunky knits with satin skirts, suede boots under tailored coats, or oversized scarves over cosy wool. Accessories, from handbags to jewellery, are following suit, mirroring the earthy, comforting feel of the season.

Arwa Hassan, PRYA’s in-house style director explains, “The caffeine-inspired trend isn’t just about colour.

“It’s about creating a layered, tactile look that feels grounded and effortless. Mixing soft and structured textures with pops of unexpected tones gives every outfit depth and personality.”

Jewellery offers a natural way to echo these autumnal tones. By mixing metals, textures and colours, it’s possible to build a layered stack that complements any wardrobe:

Latte layers: Soft, neutral tones pair beautifully with delicate gold. Dainty chains, slim bangles and fine stacking rings in yellow or rose gold add a subtle shimmer that enhances cream jumpers, camel coats and chunky knits.

Espresso tones: Richer, darker shades call for statement pieces. Chunky gold jewellery, vintage-inspired earrings and layered pendants in warm metallics add sophistication and balance to neutral outfits. “These are pieces that can carry an outfit”, says Arwa. “They ground lighter tones and bring visual interest to chocolate browns, caramels and rust-orange knits.”

Matcha pop: A touch of green adds freshness and contrast. Look for enamel accents or gemstones like emerald or green tourmaline. “It’s about a hint of surprise”, adds Arwa. “A pop of pistachio or mossy green keeps the stack modern and dynamic.”

Layered thoughtfully, these tones create a versatile autumn stack that feels considered rather than overly styled. This season, jewellery isn’t just an accessory, it’s a way to translate the rich, comforting shades of your favourite coffee into everyday style.
