Tiny Shorts and Purses! The Best Looks of the 2019 Teen Choice Awards

You may feel too old to watch The Teen Choice Awards but you are never too old to appreciate good fashion and the 2019 Teen Choice Awards certainly had plenty of that. Let’s look at some of the best ensembles of the night.

Zendaya

Can this girl make a mistake? No. Her unique fashion choices are always on fleek and always look incredible. She wore a Jacquemus bright yellow checkered top with little green shorts and white Le Silla pointy heels as well as Bauble Bar earrings.

Taylor Swift

The singer also jumped in on the fancy shorts trend with her Versace romper that was fancy and yet oh so summery. She accessorized with tangerine Kat Maconie shoes and Misahara earrings with rings by Irene Neuwirth, VRAM and Emily P Wheeler. Swift received the Teen Icon Award.

Lucy Hale

The star of the upcoming Riverdale spinoff Katty Kay and the host of the show looked lovely in a red-and-black speckled Jean Paul Gaultier mini-dress, paired with black Andrea Wazen heels, Swarovski rings and earrings.

Gabrielle Union

The outspoken actress looked excellent in a lavender-colored Lanvin maxi dress with gold fringe on the bottom paired with Yeprem jewelry.

KJ Apa

Oh Archiekins! Gotta love a man who isn’t afraid of fashion. The Riverdale star sported a lavender suit from Marni with white sneaks and looked casually cool.

Maddie Ziegler

While everyone else opted for shorts the former Dance Moms star went for a classic though brightly colored Chanel pantsuit. She paired her sky blue pantsuit with bright orange detailing with a teeny tiny black Chanel purse (another trend of the night.)

Emily Osment

Another big trend of the night was neon and Osment rocked it in her bright pink Allen Schwartz suit, Aldo shoes, KBH Jewels earrings, and an August and June necklace and rings. Her Almost Family co-star Megalyn Echikunwoke also got in on the neon trend in a bright green ensemble.

Meredith is the former editor in chief of the women's career site, The Grindstone.
