Why You Should Get To Know Irina’s Fashion Boutique This Fall

This is your new favourite store

Stressing over what to wear? Don’t worry we got you. Or rather Irina’s Fashion Boutique has got you as this line from husband and wife team Paula Alves and Pedro Alves is your new go-to store for an Autumn Winter wardrobe update. Their philosophy is all about helping women look great but also working within their busy timelines. The founders wrote on their site, “In this fast paced world we know how difficult it is to balance family life, work, social life and still try to find just a little bit of time to ourselves. So this website is made for you, to help you manage your time in a well-deserved way, by making you feel on the outside how you do on the inside-unique and special.”

And their Autumn/Winter collection will do just that. It is full of exquisite pieces for everyday, special events and looking chic in the changing weather. Like divine floral dresses (we’re talking mature autumnal prints!) and fun blouses such as this one that takes a little twist on your typical fall plaid.

This shirt also transitions the fun embroidered trend of the summer and moves it seamlessly into fall. And this beautiful bell and ruffle sleeve blouse in bordeaux is perfect for a fall cocktail party.

Staying warm doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice taste and you can do just that with this coat with fur trim in a bold red. They have a bevy of great coat options. It should also be noted that this new brand offers plus-sizing which shows they are really listening and trying to serve the modern consumer.

We were lucky enough to chat with the duo behind this collection who started their company just this past July in their home base of Portugal after working in customer service across various industries including psychology, sports, IT and banking. They describe the brand as “Fashion for women and for the special people in their lives.” Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? Get to know the Pedro and Paula Alves who just made dressing for fall a whole lot more fun.

YCB: Coffee or tea?

Tea.

YCB: Can you tell us the story behind the brand name: IFB?

We are the proud parents of a beautiful and amazing little girl named Irina. She is the key element of our lives and was our inspiration for this new accomplishment/project. So we decided to give the Boutique her name, because we could not think of something more beautiful and special than her.

YCB: Tell us briefly about a day in your shoes.

Both my husband and I are the founders of IFB. Currently we spend our days improving the Website, trying to find new quality suppliers and liaising with the current ones, searching for new beautiful clothes to add to our collections, reading about the latest news in Fashion, preparing orders, providing support to our clients questions/requests and promoting our Website on Social Networks so that more people can get to know IFB.

YCB: Who is the IFB customer?

The IFB customer is the sophisticated busy working woman that wants to balance family life, work and social life and still try to find just a little bit of time for herself. So we made the website to help our customers to manage their time in a well-deserved way, by making them feel on the outside how they are on the inside-unique and special.

YCB: From where do you source the garments that can be purchased from your online site?

From several suppliers across Europe.

YCB: Tell us about the production process?

All our suppliers are based in Europe. Some of them have their production made by know quality clothing factories in Europe and others have their production made directly in their own factories in order to ensure that all their high standards are met.

YCB: What can our readers find at IFB?

They can find a vast variety of high quality clothes and accessories that represent the latest fashion trends in Europe, but that at the same time are original and different, allowing them to find what makes them feel comfortable, confident and happy with very affordable prices. At Irina´s Fashion Boutique we also know the importance of family in women´s lives, so that is why they are able to find on our website Fashion for Children and Men, so that they can easily also find a gift for them.

YCB: How does the IFB brand sets itself apart from the sea of online boutiques out there?

There are several factors;  from the design of the website that was conceived to be very simple to find any product, the quality of the clothes considering that we only use European suppliers that also allow us to have better shipping timings, the fact that each product on our store is selected very carefully to ensure that all the clothes despite different are beautiful and make a stand on their own, and also that we offer a very personalised service considering that if a customer needs a specific garment we will try to find what meets their specifications.

YCB: From where do you find the inspiration for your collections?

Every piece is selected considering not only the latest fashion trends but also to celebrate the difference between each person. In every collection there are unique and different garments to ensure that any customer can find something that suits their body shape and preferences to make them feel absolutely gorgeous. So we are inspired by different types of fabric, colours, patterns and designs, in order to have a vast variety of completely different but beautiful choices for each customer and occasion.

YCB: Where do you see the IFB brand in 5 years from now?

We would like open one or more IFB boutiques (physical stores) and start designing/producing clothes with our very own label.
