Rita Ora For Madonna’s Material Girl Campaign

Rita Ora for Madonna’s Material Girl campaign

Style chameleon, Madonna has teamed up with her daughter Lourdes, who goes by the self-picked name of Lola, creating the brand ‘Material Girl’ in homage to her huge track of the same title, and also the pairs love of everything fashion. The clothing and accessories line, which is exclusive to Macy’s has seen great success since its first collection a few years ago, targets Pretty Young Things, cool girls who have great style! Reasonably prices and influenced by Madonna and Lola’s incredible personal style, it is the brand for teenage girls and young adults in America.

‘Material Girl’ been fronted by the likes of Kelly Osbourne and most recently London gal, Rita Ora. The blonde bombshell is the new face of the Fall 2013 ‘Material Girl Hits London’ collection. Shot at several London landmarks for in the bright clothes, Rita flashed her trademark red pout and equally recognisable fun attitude!

The shoot captures the Material Girl tour of London, and follows bubbly Rita around London at numerous locations in different outfits from the collection, including Union Jack motif tops, that are given a distressed, rock chick transformation and loads of leather accents. The Mother and Daughter duo are obviously bang on trend, but put their fashion forward twist on every item, and who could expect any less of the once cone-bra wearing Musician and her equally daring daughter!

Rita says ‘I loved travelling around all the beautiful landscapes of London, and dressing up and having fun!’ She was handpicked by Madonna and Lola, who Rita calls ‘her icon and her incredibly cool daughter’. The ‘Hot Right Now’ singer goes on to tell us ‘What material girl means is so much more than just a girl, it means fashion, confidence, belief and the inspiration and freedom to express yourself. ‘Material Girl’ doesn’t follow trends, it makes trends.

The collection, which will be available from Macy’s stores and online this Fall, will include clothes, shoes, and lots of jewellery! The pairing of incredibly cool London singer Rita Ora, who counts model of the moment Cara Delavigne as her best friend, and the youthful fun designs of Madonna and Lola are a perfect match. Celebrating expression through clothes and encouraging young girls to have fun with fashion and be themselves is the Material Girl message and Your Coffee Break think that Rita Ora is the perfect ambassador for the brand!
