Harvey Nichols Spring Summer 2013 Fashion Show

Spring is finally here, and to celebrate the start of Summer, Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge created a pop-up space in the Saatchi Gallery at the Duke of York Square to to showcase the Spring/Summer 2013 Collections last Wednesday, March 27th.

The show brought a punch of bright colors, all with a twist of basics. Models showcased both simplistic and extravagant looks in pieces by multiple high-end brands offered at Harvey Nichols. A simple white pant suit was juxtaposed against a Christopher Kane white dress with black and hot pink floral accents.

The pop-up, sold-out show also included other big-name designers like Dolce and Gabbana and Gucci and featured clothing with geometric prints, metallics and color pops. The models’ beauty looks were even off the charts; their nails were clad with Nail Inc’s exclusive new polish, “Denim.”

The clothes weren’t the only thing to marvel over; the crowd was filled with top A-list guests like Margo Stilley, Delilah, Camilla Rutherford, Will Best and Laura Whitmore.

In the show, many of the guests were seen with purses from Harvey Nichols’ latest campaign, “The New Breed.” Highlighted by its tongue-in-cheek attitude, the campaign’s print ads feature models carrying bright bags with oversized dogs inside – a light hearted jab at celebrities with small toy pets – showcase the blend between style and utility. These bags, appropriately called the “Doggy-Bag” and can be found on the company’s website.
