How To Get Gorgeous Hair This Winter. Tips From Leo Bancroft

Emma Stone Winter hair

This winter it’s all about glamming up your hair with the ultimate hair accessories. Models for Oscar de la Renta, Giles and Gucci amongst others, donned glamorous hair accessories this fashion week. I’m taking inspiration from these masters of fashion to help you forget about the winter weather and focus on working it this season.

Stylists at Dolce and Gabanna matched opulent hair accessories to the equally as opulent couture. Simple hair styles were adorned with lavish pearls, jewels and floral headbands. If you are going to add a full on, glitzy hair accessory then I would recommend keeping the hairstyle very simple. A sleek pony tail, poker straight blow-dry or a low chignon is ideal. Top these simple yet stunning hair styles with a Finishing Touch Pearl & Diamante Headband or Flower Headband.

pearl and diamante headband Rodarte glammed up windswept up dos by adorning them with gold, star hair pins. Hair barrettes look fabulous with most hair dos.  Re-create this look by curling hair with curling tongs from root to tip or set hair with my Blissfully Bouncy Thermo Rollers. Once the curls are set, back comb in layers and set with lashings of Secretly Styled Firm Hold Hairspray and pin the side with either of the Finishing Touch Flower Barrettes.

This understated, 1920s look as seen at Cacharel is so simple to re-create and is a great style for growing out fringes and for elongating a wider face. Style hair in a low chignon, side parted pony tail or side parted down do and pop in one of my Finishing Touch Diamante Grips.

The models at Rochas secured simple, swept-back ponytails with lacquered barrettes. They were the perfect finishing touch. To re-create this, secure a pulled back pony tail with a Finishing Touch Flower Hairband or Enameled Flower Hairband.
