We Lived Like Royalty At The Grand Hyatt Hotel In Kuala Lumpur

The Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala LumpurLast month, the Your Coffee Break team were invited on a wonderful trip to the beautiful Malaysia, in order to experience and discover the rich culture of its food-scene. It was fabulous, by the way.

Our itinerary began in the country’s bustling capital city, Kuala Lumpur, from whence we travelled with on together with MAS Holidays to the historic Malacca, a state situated in the southern region of Malaysia. On our trip there were so many amazing things to do, see and taste, but our stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur also made a fabulous and long-lasting impression. Ladies, for those of you who wish for a stunning holiday and a stay in an exquisite hotel; read on, we’ve got you covered!

You can only imagine our excitement when we found out that we were going to stay at the luxury, 5-star Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur – knowing how acclaimed Hyatt hospitality is worldwide! In a great location in the vibrant city, the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is only 60 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, so our destination was reached with ease. Surrounded by the picturesque gardens of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Park, the whereabouts of the hotel are not only beautiful, but also incredibly convenient – the hotel is within walking distance of the popular tourist attractions, the business and entertainment district, and shopping malls – perfect for us fashion obsessives!

Grand Executive Suite The Grand Hyatt Kuala LumpurWith 370 rooms (of the most spacious in the city!), 42 suites and large meeting and event rooms; this modern building makes a grand impression upon the Kuala Lumpur landscape, and skyline – due to its impressive height and size.  Inside, the décor is nothing short of timeless elegance, creating a great ambience that makes for a splendid stay. We checked in to the Grand Executive Suite, which too was spacious with a charming interior. We were greeted by varying shades of rich, mahogany furnishings, and plush velvet and leather couches. The floor-to-ceiling windows made for breathtaking, panoramic views of the city, and the world-famous Petronas Twin-Towers. What’s more, these grandiose windows let in the gorgeous Malaysian sunshine, yet are fitted with blinds for privacy, or for times of rest.

The Grand Executive Suite Bathroom - The Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala LumpurThe suite was well equipped with two wide-screen televisions (upon which we could catch up with BBC News!) and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms took up a big space of the room and had both a shower and a large bath-tub and huge mirrors, perfect for a pampering session. And what a view!

As if we didn’t feel like royalty enough, the suite also included a large, walk-in closet which was perfect for us fashion-queens, and there was also our very own espresso-machine to quench our coffee-thirst! A magnificent, mahogany desk makes clear that this suite was not only brilliant for a stay with the purpose of pleasure, but also for business too; holiday-goers and career ladies and men alike would feel at home. Further benefits that come along with this marvellous suite are all-day refreshments, complimentary internet access and evening cocktails with canapés.

JP Teres - The Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala LumpurBelieve it or not, but the hotel has even more to offer outside of its fabulous rooms and suites. The hotel’s two restaurants both offer high-quality and delicious cuisine. Whilst you may choose from a mouth-watering selection of steaks, seafood, sushi and sashimi at THIRTY8, JP Teres serves native dishes. At JP Teres, we were treated to a wonderful lunch where we enjoyed Malaysian specialities that were absolutely titillating to the taste buds.

Well-being and hospitality are integral parts of the Grand Hyatt experience, so it is not surprising that the hotel has the stunning Essa Spa, with its signature Essential Calm, Energetic Awakening and Inner Radiance treatments, as well as traditional therapies. Additionally, various swimming-pools and a 24 hour fitness suite mean that you can bring your fitness regime with you if you so desire.

Breakfast Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala LumpurHere at Your Coffee Break, we certainly couldn’t ask for more of our stay at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur with MAS Holidays and would relish the chance to hop on a plane for another exquisite stay!  We personally recommend taking a well-earned break from your busy lives and checking out Genting Promotion travel deals.  Too busy?  Next you’re organising a business meeting over a cup of coffee…why not hold it in one of the fabulous meeting-rooms in the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur? …We did…!!
