Can Exercise Make You Better in Bed?

If you asked most people if they’d like to improve their physical fitness or gain confidence in their own skin, the likely answer is going to be a resounding YES. As humans, we are overly critical of ourselves, yet oftentimes lack the motivation to really do something about it. It’s safe to say that very few enjoy the pain that comes from pushing your body to its limit in the gym. However, if we told you that exercise could drastically improve your sex life, what would you say?

Increased Muscle Tone Can Improve Orgasms

Exercise makes your muscles tighter and more responsive. Since orgasms depend on multiple muscle activity and contractions, increased muscle strenght in the core and pelvic floor muscles can increase the intensity and lenght of a person’s orgasms.

Exercise Can Improve Your Sex Drive

When you exercise, the brain releases a powerful hormone known as endorphins. We all know that endorphins makes you happy, however endorphins also stimulate the release of sex hormones. These hormones improves your digestion, reduce your heart rate, lower your blood pressure and relax your body, leaving you feeling prepped and primed for some fun in the bedroom.

Exercise Improves Cardiovascular Fitness

When we run, cycle, or play energetic sports, our body revs up the release of beta-endorphins. These will make your heart race, and your blood flow to all the right places! Cardiovascular training with your partner can consequently cause your desire for each other to grow, as well as increase your stamina for a longer performance.

Exercise Can Increase Your Libido

When we strenght train, increased levels of growth hormone are released, which contribute to increased testosterone levels – the arousal hormone. Increasing the frequency or strenght training is therefore proven to improve sexual arousal. Not to mention the increased confidence that being in better shape gives you in the bedroom, as increased endurance for some more… interesting positions.
