5 Awesome Confidence Tips From Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui

5 awesome confidence tips from actress Emmanuelle Chriqui

Emmanuelle Chriqui on confidence

Your Coffee Break recently had a chance to sit down with actress Emmanuelle Chriqui, who will be starring in the Entourage film next summer, at the Marshalls Confidence Master Class. Chriqui, along with Dateologist Tracey Steinberg and Career Expert Nicole Williams, were talking about all the ways women can feel more confident in their everyday lives and on special occasions (like the red carpet) and a lot of that has to do with what you’re wearing. Marshalls research found that 71% of women wish they were more confident. Chriqui told YCB, “I am so happy to be partnering up with Marshall’s and helping them empower young women. You get incredible fashion without breaking the bank and I’m just all about that! There is way too much pressure for young girls to have to deal with. What Marshall’s is doing is really amazing.” Here are some of the Entourage actress’s tips for feeling more confident on the red carpet and in everyday life!

Emmanuelle Chriqui Entourage1. Always do something with your arms

Chriqui says a lot of women have arm issues and when you leave them at your sides they look bigger in pictures, but by simply giving your arms angles (like by putting your hands on your waist) you give yourself a shape.

2. Cross your legs

If you’re wearing a miniskirt do the cross because it elongates your legs, she says!

3. Embrace your power color

Chriqui says she likes to wear black a lot, but a color is really great. She recommends yellow. “It is beautiful and full of self expression and communication.”

4. Meditate before a big event

Chriqui is very into meditation. “I always meditate before a big event. I meditate twice a day for 20 minutes. Once in the morning and then again in the afternoon. It really sets yourself up for all your activities. It rounds me and allows me to authentically connect with people. I can walk into a room and be open [after I meditate]. Sometimes you can walk into a room and be really intimidated but because I have visualized it I feel better.”

5. Watch your body language

Chriqui says when she is in a meeting with a studio head or executive she makes sure to perch a little in her seat with her head forward looking very attentive.
