Lions, Tigers, and Zebras, OH MY!
Animal prints have a way of attracting attention and if worn poorly, it can even be damaging. However, with animal print scarves, you can be subtle and stylish!
I have to admit, when the animal print craze started I was a little skeptical. “Are you sure those zebra stripes go with the leopard spots?” I remember asking a more daring fashionista friend. But when the look was complete she walked out in total confidence and looked absolutely amazing. It was then that I was convinced that perhaps I could work some animal print into my looks.
Even after being converted, though, I’m still not truly ready to go head to toe in animal print galore. I’ve realized though, that a great way to rock the trend (in a more subtle way for someone like myself) is with a cute printed scarf. It’s fierce, and lets you exude wildness and confidence in a way that adds to your outfit without taking over the entire look.
Taking celeb and model fashion tips from Sex & the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker and Rosie Huntington-Whitely, try pairing your animal print scarf with a basic color like black. SJP and Rosie are both rocking the leopard scarf with a mainly black ensemble that is perfect for this fall. Altogether, an animal print scarf can be subtle, is definitely classy, and will add a cool new edge to your look!
