With the rise of the Time’s Up movement and groundbreaking sexual harassment cases creating a brighter future for all industries, the stars of Hollywood came out in full force last night to celebrate the 90th Academy Awards. With fashion playing such an intrinsic part in our history, let’s take a look at the gowns and, more importantly, the women this night will be remembered for.

Emma Watson creates magic at the Vanity Fair party in Ralph Lauren, with jewellery by AnaKatarina Design, ANA KHOURI, and Vrai & Oro. Sticking to her sustainable and ethically friendly fashion choices, Watson also displays a Time’s Up temporary tattoo; proving that fashion is a great accomplice in fighting for what’s right.

Jennifer Garner pays homage to the great style icons in a stunning blue Versace gown, Piaget jewelry and a touch of old Hollywood glamour. A royal look fit for a queen of the silver screen!

Gina Rodriguez makes a statement in a beautiful Zuhair Murad gown with a romantic fairytale design, proving dreams do come true. Rodriguez has been outspoken about the Time’s Up movement and representativity in Hollywood, and is set to star in Annihilation with a majority female cast.

Lupita Nyong’o wears Atelier Versace and Niwaka jewelry to revel in the success of Black Panther on the red carpet. A superhero of diversity and fashion, this phenomenal female makes her voice roar.

Jennifer Lawrence leads in an incredible Dior dress while taking on her role as presenter. Lawrence will star in the upcoming film Red Sparrow and be taking a break from acting to be more politically active over the next year.

Margot Robbie is breathtaking in her Haute Couture Chanel gown and Roger Vivier shoes, celebrating her nomination for her role in I, Tonya. Portraying incredible women onscreen and being one herself off-screen, Robbie is one to watch.
