Lauren Conrad reveals the big news on her blog: LC is officially engaged!

Reality TV Star turned Fashion Designer, Lauren Conrad, yesterday announced her engagement to boyfriend, William Tell. The 27-year-old posted a blog post on her site, alongside a photo of her perfectly manicured hand brandishing the beautiful engagement ring (perfectly positioned next to her gorg ‘Love’ ring by Sydney Evan – we need to get our hands on this one!), with the exciting news.

She posted: “I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process.”

The former The Hills and Laguna Beach star utilised her 15 minutes of MTV fame through entrepreneurial success in the fashion industry, launching her own line of clothing, jewellery and shoes for Kohl’s department stores. Combined with best-selling book L.A. Candy, along with many others, Lauren has established herself as a well-rounded, successful woman. She is also renowned for having impeccable taste, with her Pinterest page receiving 622,434 followers and counting.

No date has been announced yet, but we predict that this shall be the Hollywood wedding of the year, with every picturesque embellishment imaginable. Conrad later updated her site, writing: “William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment :-)”

Conrad and Will, a USC law student, dated for two years before getting engaged, having been introduced through a mutual friend. We wish them the biggest congratulations!
