The Award Season is definitely here and the Oscars are not far away! On January 10th, Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane took the stage at the 85th Academy Awards Nominations Annoucement held in Beverly Hills, California.

Emma Stone looked stunning as always, taking the stage this Thursday, January 10! The 24-year-old actress was recently named ‘style icon of the year’- a well deserved title. The young actress wore a simple yet glamorous white halter-neck dress with a waist-cinching black belt, finishing her look with classy black pumps.

Emma is starring in a new film entitled Gangster Squad, alongside Ryan Gosling who she has worked with in the past.

Co-host MacFarlane received an Oscars nod himself in the Original Song category, with Everybody Needs a Best Friend, from his film Ted.

Steven Spielberg’s noble historical drama Lincoln led with 12 nominations, including Best Picture. The film was closely followed by Ang Lee’s much talked about Life of Pi, which was nominated a total of 11 times. Though latest James Bond flick Skyfall failed to gather many noteworthy nominations, its theme song by Adele may win the title of Best Original Song come February 24th. Anne Hathaway’s powerful performance as Fantine in Les Miserables earned her the nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The film itself gathered 8 nominations.
