Look as Good as You Feel with Vegan Friendly Beauty Products

As we become more conscious about what we eat, we also want to make sure our beauty products are 100% vegan and ethical too. It is now easier than ever to cut cruelty from your beauty regime whether you’re brightening your smile or rejuvenating your skin.

Introducing Miss Patisserie, our new go-to brand for beautiful cruelty free products that look just fabulous on the side of our bath! This Welsh brand has really got us talking in the YCB office, with cupcake bath melts that look good enough to eat and body souffle’s that smell simply heavenly. In recent years social media has uncovered the true horror of animal testing and more and more brands are opting for that cruelty free status in order to avoid public backlash and unnecessary cruelty to our furry friends. Not only that, all of the Miss Patisserie range are free from any animal products!

We’ve had the hard job of testing some of these gorgeous products and couldn’t wait to share our faves with our wonderful readers…

Cupcake Bath Melts

They smell great, they feel great and they look great! What more could you want? Our favourite is the vanilla bath melt containing nourishing cocoa and shea butter to ensure your skin feels hydrated and silky smooth. Just don’t be tempted to take a bite out of it! These make the perfect stocking filler for all those ultra prepared Christmas shoppers out there…we envy you.

Lotus Flower Body Souffle

Repair and soothe your skin with this nourishing Lotus Flower Body Souffle. Available in a range of beautiful scents, this is an absolute must-have product to ensure your skin remains healthy and glowing all winter long. The rice bran oil penetrates the dermis leaving your skin as smooth as velvet. We’ve been reaching for this product after every bath and our skin has never felt silkier.

Coconut Sugar Scrub

Be rid of dry, flaky skin with this coconut sugar scrub – a real winter essential for your pins! Packed with anti-inflammatory jojoba oil and restoring sweet almond oil to moisturise and invigorate your skin. The renewing vitamin E is also great for stretch marks!

Walnut Stone Face Mask

There’s nothing worse than a dull winter complexion which is inevitable as the temperature drops and the sun goes into hibernation. Cold, harsh winds and chilly morning commutes don’t do much for the skin, so it’s important to up your skincare regime this time of the year. This face mask offers a brighter, smoother complexion by using a combination of rhassoul clay, kaolin clay and walnut stone. Simply add water to the powder mask and massage into your face, gently exfoliating your skin and leaving you with a fabulous year round glow.

Jade Facial Roller

Did you know regular facial massage helps to improve elasticity and tones the skin? The Jade Roller is great for closing pores, firming the skin and relieving block sinuses (something we often struggle with this time of year!). As well as this it can also help to plump out wrinkles, offering a more youthful appearance to your skin. For best results, apply a few drops of facial oil to your skin and follow by using the Jade Roller in various directions to aid lymphatic drainage. It’s a real wonder product which we can’t believe we’ve been living without until now!

Vegan Soy Candles

And finally, it wouldn’t be a real pamper night without a candle flickering in the background! Miss Patisserie’s vegan soy candles are rich in fragrance and we’re particularly fond of the ‘Rose Cassis’ scent which is all kinds of gorgeous! All candles are hand poured and don’t use any nasty chemicals. These make for the perfect gift for your BFF.
