Friday Pampering At The Chelsea Day Spa

The Chelsea Day Spa

It’s Friday and you’re at work willing the hours to pass because you’re looking forward to a night out on the town with the girls and a few glasses of vino. Am I right?

But the glorious British weather has put a dampner on things. You’re hair has had a battering from the wind, rain, and stormy weather on the way into work. Alas! There’s a solution! And it doesn’t involve lugging your own shampoo and straighteners into the office loos for a quick fix.

The Chelsea Spa Day Boutique has opened it’s first ever blow dry bar with your street credibility in mind.

What’s more? While you’re there, you can even get a quick manicure or your brows shaped for all those important eye raising moments at the bar later.

I went along to the newly opened hair, health and beauty sanctuary on Fulham’s Wandsworth Bridge Road to check it out for myself.

The third sister to the Chelsea Day Spa on King’s Road and another on Hollywood Road, this discreet respite offers a vast menu of health and beauty treatments.

The Chelsea Day Spa

The spa is most proud of its first ever The Chelsea Blow Dry Bar for just £15 (an additional £5 for longer hair). No cutting, or colouring. Just wash, blow and go! And if you want a fancy up-do for a special occasion, just ask. These beauticians are super quick without cutting corners (pun intended) and will have you groomed to perfection in minutes.

Beautician Bijal threaded my eyebrows quicker than I could say ‘ouch!’.

Furthermore, once applied, my Jessica nail varnish manicure was touch-dry in ten minutes.

Perhaps one of the best features of the spa is the luxurious cushioned pedicure bench with retro sinks that seats two. A great gossip station for two friends all the while being pampered if you ask me.

For those with more time on their hands and wanting to indulge further, the spa offers a range of face and body treatments in its spacious and cosy treatment rooms. Choose from facials, personalised aromatherapy, Swedish, hot stone and deep tissue massages.

So whatever your time scale, long or short, there really is a treatment to suit your needs. The spa is also reasonably priced and will have various offers on throughout the year.
