Fish & Bubbles: New Seafood Restaurant & Aperitivo Bar in Notting Hill…! @fishandbubbleslondon YCB Magazine’s @sophievictoriagreen writes… ✍️ "This new casual Italian eatery is inspired by aperitivo bars and is the first place in the UK to specialise in “panini di mare” – aka fish paninis. These signature toasted sandwiches come in the form of “Rosetta” bread rolls, which is a typical Italian doorstep-sized bun shaped as a rose, stuffed with the freshest seafood fillings. The restaurant looks petite from the outside but there’s plenty of room, with two ground-floor dining areas, bar and table seating, plus a downstairs area that would accommodate bigger groups. The décor is cosy, with lamplit tables and kitschy seaside details such as fishing nets and maritime paintings. It’s the type of place you can visit for date night, or a catch up with friends, fuelled by several glasses of prosecco… … There’s so much to like about this new restaurant concept in Notting Hill. The menu is a lot of fun, the Negronis are cheap as chips and the fish is as fresh as it gets." IN THE MAGAZINE: Vivat Bacchus — A Culinary Journey to South Africa Without Leaving Central London…! 🍴🇿🇦🇬🇧 @vivatbacchus Josie Wilkins from YCB Magazine’s Editorial team writes…. “South Africa is a country renowned for being an idyllic holiday destination. Stunning coastlines, breathtaking canyons, and of course, the iconic wildlife- what more could one want in an exotic escape from the UK? Plus, not only is it one of the finest safari destinations the world has to offer, but it is also home to its very own vibrant, beautiful cuisine. With regional, speciality meats grilled to perfection on a braai- a South African menu is one quite like no other. However, a hefty 11 hour-or-so plane journey causes most of us to keep the visit for an extra special occasion. But what if a honeymoon isn’t on the cards and your holiday must prioritise accessibility over adventure? Fear not. Vivat Bacchus has brought the rustic cuisine of this beautiful country to not one, but two central London locations for us to revel in all year round. With one restaurant standing proudly in the heart of Farringdon and the other just a stone’s throw from London Bridge, both venues of @vivatbacchus are in convenient, central locations. We hopped on the Circle line to Farringdon and with one foot in the door, we knew we were in for a treat.” You can now read the full review feature in our #Lifestyle pages & #Travel #AroundTown section written by @jw.editorial ✍️ #vivatbacchus #london #farringdon #londonbridge #southafrica #southafrican #cuisine #southafricancuisine #londonrestaurant #londonrestaurants #centrallondon #londongems #londonrestaurantguide #press #review #invited #recommended #pressreview #feature #ycbmagazine

As you sip your early morning coffee check this out for your next hidden gem to visit next time you’re in Copenhagen… One of our favorite foodie shows on Netflix is Somebody Feed Phil and whilst @phil.rosenthal was on his culinary journey in Copenhagen he stopped by this cool gas station turned burger joint to show us the best burgers to be found in the city… 🍔🇩🇰 So whilst we were doing a few hotel reviews on our most recent trip to the city we just had to stop by @gasolinegrill and try it out for ourselves on a rainy, cosy day… 🌧️ ☔️ #somebodyfeedphil #gasolinegrill #copenhagen

A first of its kind in London, @fishandbubbleslondon – a modern Italian seafood restaurant and aperitivo bar - is now open on Notting Hill’s Kensington Park Road, brought to us by the brothers behind Stanley Tucci favourite, @lamiamammalondon. 🇮🇹🇬🇧 Expect gourmet seafood panini, giant fritto misto sharing boards and cicchetti, plus knock-out negronis and plenty of bubbles to boot! 🌊🦞🦪🥂 To celebrate the opening, we were invited over to experience their new dishes. 🎉❤️ Located just moments from Portobello Road, the authentic Italian dining experience transported us to the coast of southern Italy… It’s all about casual lunches and light bites to-go by day, come evening the lights are dimmed, candles are lit and the venue transforms into an intimate, relaxed aperitivo bar. 🕯️🍸✨ Full review feature coming soon in our #Lifestyle pages & #Travel #AroundTown section, written by YCB Magazine’s @sophievictoriagreen ✍️

IN THE MAGAZINE: Here’s how to nail the ‘pop of cobalt’ trend - according to a stylist 💙 Beginning at the end of 2023 and continuing on into the winter months, it seemed that we couldn’t get away from the ‘Pop Of Red’ trend - however, with the seasons finally changing there seems to be a new bold colour to add to our wardrobes: COBALT. This vibrant colour was seen on the coveted Spring 2024 runways of Loewe, Burberry, Armani Privé and Max Mara and on some of our favourite fashion influencers such as Rebecca Olivia and Emili Sindlev. We’ve sat down with Megan Watkins, Head Stylist at online fashion destination @silkfred who has shared the key elements of the trend and how you can nail this look for the upcoming season. Pour yourself a coffee ☕️… and have a read. Full article now in our #Fashion pages! (Via the link in our bio. ☝️) @ycbmagazine

We swap sparkles for sophistication with a timeless watch from The Camden Watch Company…👌 @camdenwatchco While our wardrobes adjust to the change of seasons, we’re continuously sporting a classic piece that transcends fashion fads. We adore the beautifully-designed collection of watches from the @camdenwatchco, timepieces that can be elegantly worn all year round, for the foreseeable future. Inspired by British heritage, the midnight dial watch is inspired by the colours of dusk. We especially love the striking shades of blue and black… 💙🖤 This timepiece is available on three straps- oxblood leather, tan, and black.
There’s also a dark red palette of the Oxblood strap. Article coming soon in our #Fashion pages written by Josie Wilkins from the Editorial Team ✍️☕️ @jw.editorial

I’m such a @rarebeauty addict and the new skincare line is absolutely lush! Smells so delicious, fresh and natural… Can highly recommend it. 🤍✨👌 And the fragrance is very lasting too! Treated myself to a @fentybeauty lipgloss as it was too gorgeous not to buy! 💄

Just before the Easter holiday, Spanish Chorizo Consortium invited us over for a #ChorizoAmbassadors event in London at Iberica Canary Wharf 🇪🇸 🇬🇧 @spanish_chorizo All in all it was a wonderful, buzzing event and evening… 🎉🎉 We enjoyed the reception and welcome drinks followed by a talk from the Consortium and delicious canapés served. Spanish Chorizo Consortium are currently running an exciting campaign in the UK and you can now find their authentic, premium chorizo products in Waitrose, M&S and Tesco. #spanishchorizo #spanishchorizoconsortium #spanish #chorizo #uk #launch #campaign #press #event #iberica #canarywharf #london #ycbmagazine

A few snippets from our most recent stay - this time at the fab @adinahotelseurope in Copenhagen. 🇩🇰 Such a lovely (and needed) stay in between travels and after a full Easter holiday weekend with family and friends. The perfect place to unwind and relax… 🧖‍♀️💆‍♀️🤍 With a gorgeous pool and we even had our own little kitchenette… 💝
